Account Manager

Eventive is a software-based virtual cinema platform & ticketing system that serves film festivals, theaters, distributors, universities, and other event organizers. Services offered include online virtual film festivals and virtual theatrical releases, physical event ticketing, special event live streaming, and more.

Job Overview

We are looking for an earnest Account Manager to nurture and grow long-term relationships with our customers. As an account manager, you will work to understand customer needs and proactively support their objectives with Eventive. The goal is to win recurring and new business through diligent service and support.

Account managers report to the Account Management Lead and work to establish and sustain meaningful ties with a designated group of Eventive's customers. You will serve as the main point of contact for the lifecycle of a customer - from onboarding through renewal and growth, You will be working with colleagues to share learnings for actionable plans that drive product changes, process improvements, and overall customer satisfaction and growth, and educating organizers for greater success on their own.

This position acts as a representative of Eventive to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.

This is a remote position and responsibilities can be performed from anywhere in the world, although applicants must be fluent in the English language.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a communication hub for clients/customers
  • Resolve customer disputes and attending to inquiries
  • Assist with critical issues and escalations
  • Follow and track tech or product-related issues for resolution and level of satisfaction
  • Work with Account Management Lead, Product, and Tech Expert to determine escalation of feature requests and ongoing issues for their accounts
  • Responsible for managing add-on requests such as hardware or custom apps
  • Build long-term rapport with customers
  • Meticulously utilize the CRM for all day-to-day activities
  • Onboard newly active organizations based on their goals
  • Schedule follow-ups post onboarding, office hours, pre and post-event check-in/debrief
  • Perform debriefs with Customer Success Manager & Product Team
  • Construct and schedule correspondence post-onboarding including regular video call check-ins, event debriefs, and set-up assistance
  • Find opportunities to assist with the growth of the company
  • Coordinate with Account Management Lead to determine Premium eligibility
  • Develop ideas/strategies to help build a good relationship with clients
  • Deliver weekly reports on outreach and feedback gathered
  • Follow and track tech or product-related issues for resolution and level of satisfaction
  • Travel as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BSc degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Prior experience as an Account Manager, ideally in a similar organization
  • Extensive knowledge of Eventive and its mission & functionality
  • Familiarity with Hubspot or similar CRM software and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of effective sales and negotiation tactics
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to forge profound, lasting working relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
