Eventive helped IDA to customize a login option that sent members directly to the IDA membership portal. Once a member logged in, they were automatically directed back to the screening site, where they could unlock tickets to members-only content.The creative solution to link their existing membership portal with Eventive led to a seamless ticketing experience for IDA’s valued members.

At the end of each year, IDA members get a chance to vote for their favorites in the IDA Documentary Awards. It was imperative that only members were able to access the ballots and that voting be made easy for those watching at home.By controlling access to balloted screenings, organizers can also use Eventive to set up special virtual jury screenings for festivals.

IDA hosted its 2022 Screening Series as a hybrid event, garnering more than 10,000 viewers. They also uploaded pre-recorded discussions with the directors as part of the virtual screening playlist, so viewers could transition seamlessly from the film to the Q&A.The Docuclub series of work-in-progress screenings with live feedback sessions also proved successful in the virtual world, because many IDA members are still working filmmakers and virtual events fit more easily into their busy schedules.
